The Apple / Outlook option includes two built-in reminders: (when the location drops) and 90 minutes before doors. In Google Calendar, add your own reminder after saving.
Get Reminded
Don't want to keep checking back? Sign up and we'll text you when the location drops, and again before doors.
What happens to your number
You sign up on a short Microsoft Form run by The King's Trust Canada.
We use your number only to send you up to 2 texts about this event. No marketing.
Only the Plus One event team can see it. To send the texts, we load the list into our text-message provider.
We delete your number from both within after the event.
Reply STOP to any text to opt out. Standard message rates may apply.
Opens a Microsoft Form in a new tab. You'll be asked to confirm you're 18 or older and agree to the texts.
Text reminders aren't switched on yet.
Start Envisioning
We've mapped our connections and named what we each bring. This night is about looking ahead, so come with a vision. Jot down what you're reaching for, and if you like, add an image for your vision board. We'll use it on the night. You'll see.
This saves on your own phone or computer as you type, so it's here when you come back. It isn't sent anywhere unless you choose to share it below.
If you share your vision or a photo with us
It goes privately to the event team and gets printed for the vision board, where other guests will see it. We won't post it online without asking you.
Choose an image, not a photo of yourself or other people. A first name or initials is fine when uploading.
We delete it within after the event, or sooner if you email .
"Share my words" copies your vision and opens the form, so you can paste it in. No photo ahead of time? You can print one at the event.
Sharing isn't switched on yet. Your words stay on this device only.
Add Your Voice
Leave a short note (up to 30 seconds) on what's next for you. We might weave these into the night's soundtrack.
Your browser will ask to use your microphone. Nothing is sent until you tap Send.
Already recorded one in your phone's voice memo app?
If you send us a voice note
It goes straight from this page to private storage for this event, kept by our website host (Cloudflare). Only the event team and our DJ for the night can open it.
We don't ask for your name. If you say it in the recording, a first name is fine.
We may play it out loud during the event, so other guests may hear it.
Skip anything you don't want shared, like your full name or personal details.
We delete it within after the event. Want it removed sooner? Email .
✓ Sent. Thanks for adding your voice. Listen out for it on the night.
Up to 30 seconds. Sending uses a little mobile data, about the size of a photo.
Voice notes aren't switched on yet.
The Playlist
Two ways in: press play to listen on your way over, or add your own tracks. It's the soundtrack we build together all night, and it's yours to keep.
Adding songs opens Spotify and needs a free Spotify account. Your Spotify display name shows next to the songs you add, so other guests will see it. The player is from Spotify and follows Spotify's own privacy and cookie policies.
Your info, in plain words
This page is run by The King's Trust Canada for the Plus One networking series. All guests are 18 or older. Everything below is optional, and you can enjoy the night without sharing anything.
What we collect, only if you choose to send it
Mobile number (Microsoft Form), to text you up to 2 event reminders.
Your vision: words (Microsoft Form) and a photo (OneDrive upload), for the event vision board.
Voice note (sent from this page), to possibly play during the event. The event team and our DJ for the night can listen to it.
What stays on your device
Your draft vision, any recording you make here until you tap Send, and the calendar file. The countdown, map and calendar buttons send us nothing.
Who else is involved
Microsoft stores form answers and uploads in The King's Trust Canada's Microsoft 365 account.
Our text-message provider receives your number only to send the reminders.
Our website host, Cloudflare, stores the voice notes you send and keeps standard visit logs, like any website. The Spotify player follows Spotify's own privacy and cookie policies. Google Maps and Calendar only open if you tap them.
How long we keep it
We delete numbers, words, photos and voice notes within after the event.
Changing your mind
